Quick Details
Dream It, Do It!
The rock climbing mentorship program was designed for climbers who want to take their climbing to the next level through hands on application. It was developed for both the sport and traditional climber who is wanting to move from climbing indoors to leading outdoors.
The program is designed for in person climbs during the summer months, from Mid June – Mid September. A certified rock guide will deliver educational clinics and give you the opportunity to apply skills in a variety of settings to support decision making and gain confidence. The guide will be available to students for questions, visual inspection of techniques, critics, coaching, and technique refinement.
A group of peers will become friends and climbing partners, and you will all be guided through professional progressions.
-
- Great for lead climbers in the gym who climb 5.9 comfortably and want to take their climbing outdoors
- Great for sport climbers who already lead outdoors and are ready to take their climbing to the next level
- Great for climbers interested in, or who already traditional lead climb up to 5.9
- Great for climbers interested in meeting like minded others who share a similar mindset all while under the supervision of a trained professional
Our mentorship program offers 24 days of training in the summer months (June – September). You will self select up to 16 dates to work with an AMGA certified rock guide in small groups. Mentorship includes topics like; technical skills, mindset, lead climbing, and practical application showing technical skills while lead climbing, all while under supervision.
This is a leadership course, and a professional guide will not only teach you, but also let you make decisions in real time while the guide is available to you for questions and feedback.
The group enrollment period is limited, and only available for up to 24 people. After the enrollment period has closed, the group participants will then sign up for individual mentorship days, and limited to a group size of 6. Each mentee will have ample opportunity to lead while on their mentee days.
A progression will be delivered through the summer.
