It’s Saturday morning. After tearing yourself out of bed just as early as if it was a work day, you drive up to the ski area to rip through the pow that’s been coming down without you for the last 5 days. But when you arrive, your day is dominated by long lift lines, crying children, and aggro skiers steamrolling across the slopes. Is this really why you ski???

KAF Adventures wants to help you earn your turns beyond the ski areas. We want to support your education, help you gain confidence traveling in the backcountry, and have fun with you!

What does Intro to Backcountry Skiing include?

During this one-day introduction to backcountry (BC) touring on skis or snowboard, you will get 2-3 amazing runs. You will also be introduced to techniques in efficient travel and riding safely, both up the mountain and down! All very important and fun elements to this liberating course.
