Mt. Rainier

Let’s climb this big, amazing beauty!
At 14,411 ft. Mt. Rainier is the highest peak in Washington State and the 5th highest in the continental United States. Dominating the Seattle skyline, the view of Mount Rainier is as much a part of life in the Puget Sound as rain!
A huge undertaking with amazing rewards, climbing Rainier is a phenomenal experience that you’ll find rewarding and satisfying (and the mountain will never look the same again!).
Expect to camp and travel on big glaciers with lots of other hopeful climbers. Our route climbs the Emmons Glacier.
KAF Adventures takes great pride in our passionate approach to climbing instruction… and of course, your safety. Our philosophy separates us from all other services because our emphasis is placed on teaching you everything you need to know about strong mountaineering fundamentals and the environment around you.
We don’t merely guide you; we educate you! Mick Pearson will be your guide for this experience. Mick offers professional guiding services in the Mt Rainier National Park as an employee of Alpine Ascents International under a commercial use authorization issued by the National Park.

Learn all the skills necessary to climb Rainier in our Intro to Mountaineering Courses and be a fully functioning member of your expedition’s climbing team!
