Bundle up and spend a day outdoors playing in the snow! Separate from your home and routine to gain a sense of serenity and calmness. Explore the softness of the snow and the contrasting light against the forest. Start your day with a grounding yoga practice indoors. Your Yoga, Snow, and Wine course begins and ends at the Adventure Hub, Kaf Adventures’ headquarters at 8am. After an orientation, we will begin an hour long yoga practice. Afterwards we will gather snow shoeing equipment and travel to Snoqualmie Pass or Mt. Rainier for a 2-3 hours snowshoe. Discussion on snowshoe technique and safety in a winter environment will be a part of the curriculum. After lunch, there will be classes on winter ecology and navigation. After the fun, we will return to the Adventure Hub & Winery for hot drink or a glass of wine.

Please consider driving as a caravan and all driving will take place on plowed roads to summit passes. Chains for your vehicle will be required.

As a beginner experience, plan to ascend and descend up to 1,000 ft or more throughout the day. There will be longer stops for education in a cold environment. Plan on standing in the snow for up to 20 minutes at a time with long periods of physical movement.

Plan on being back to the Adventure Hub at 5pm for a Wine Tasting. The day will end by 6:30pm.
