All day hikes are custom experiences designed specifically for you and your group. These private courses provide the perfect opportunity to explore the endless breathtaking and diverse terrain within Washington’s National Parks and Wilderness areas at the level of difficulty most suitable for you. Meander through enchanting old-growth forests, walk alongside glacier fed rivers, reach remarkable viewpoints atop craggy peaks, experience Mount Rainier’s astounding beauty, or hike through sub alpine meadows where wildflowers bloom. Our professional instructors will share their knowledge and passion of local ecology and geology while ensuring your group feels safe and comfortable throughout the day.

Location: Snoqualmie Region, approximately 1 – 2 hrs from Seattle.
Description: The Snoqualmie Region is perfect for those interested in exploring some of Washington’s most varied terrain and rich ecosystems within close proximity to Seattle.  Delve into deep forested valleys, summit a high craggy peak, or find yourself amidst steep waterfalls or a crystal clear alpine like. Whether you are looking for an easy walk or more strenuous outing, there is no shortage of hiking to be had here.

Location: North Cascades, approximately 2.5 hours from Seattle
Description: Spanning from just north of Mt. Rainier to the Canadian border with over 2 million acres of pristine wilderness, the North Cascades are home to some of the most spectacular wild-lands in the country. Find solitude among spectacular lakes, be awe-inspired by cascading waterfalls, switchback to scenic lookouts, and delight in the sprawling alpine meadows.  From the glaciers, peaks, and wildlife to the stunning views of surrounding islands, mountains, forests, and the Puget Sound, everyone will find something to love on a hike in this area.

Location: Mount Rainier National Park, approximately 2.5 hours from Seattle.
Description: Spend a day at the foot of the most prominent, glaciated, remarkable mountain in the lower 48 states.  Mount Rainier National Park offers over 260 miles of trails suitable for the most beginner to advanced of hikers that will allow you to experience the renowned glacial alpine scenery, abundant wildlife, vast wildflower covered alpine meadows, and astounding waterfalls. Hiking in the presence of this 14,410 foot tall stratovolcano is a must have experience, one that Kaf Adventures is excited to share with you.

Location: Olympic Peninsula / Olympic National Park, approximately 3 – 4 hours from Seattle.
Description: Olympic National Park is arguably the most diverse of parks and is known for its snow-capped peaks, temperate rain forests, and windswept ocean coastal areas. World renowned temperate rain forests can be found in the valleys of the Hoh, Queets, Quinault, and Boachiel Rivers in the western portion of the park. Giant trees and forests filled with a wide variety of lush vegetation can be viewed from trails easily accessible by most visitors.  The park also encompasses 57 miles of beautiful Pacific coastline and is home to over 10 different species of plants and animals found nowhere else in the world.

Itineraries will be course specific but a typical day is as follows.

Plan to meet your instructor at the trail-head or other predetermined location around 8am. There, your instructor will ensure everyone has what they need for the day,  go over general trail safety, and then you will hit the trail. You will hike for most of the day with stops for pictures, snacks, relaxation, nature talks, and lunch. You can expect to be back at the trail-head around 5pm and drive back to you respective homes or hotels from there.
