To the KAF Community!

Hello Adventurers,
Living in a constant state of motion seems to be the norm these days. I can attest, as a professional outdoor educator and guide, I often find myself in the most unique and beautiful places pondering how lucky I am to be there.

The ONLY way that I have the ability to go ice climbing in Ouray, or spend a few days climbing in Indian Creek on my way to Boulder for a climbing conference is by giving up the ability to have routine.

Finding peace within this state of motion is difficult for me. Trying to create a space in my breath and inside my body is one path I create. The other path that works for me is Community. Friends, family, and people I surround myself with really create a strong sense of peace. I find encouragement and support from you. THANK YOU.

As you read this, I ask for you to take a deep breath, think of an outdoor experience that has moved you (or is going to move you this year) and think of the people who you support you.

This year, building the KAF Community is my goal. I want all of you to know that, truly, I want to support you finding peace and enjoyment outside and sharing that with others. To this end, Jason Wheeler and Kirt Hodges have joined the team to support KAF and its mission!
Also, our new website will allow all of us to connect with more ease using an event Calendar. Remember that Facebook is also a great way to stay connected.
With such a giant task of creating a new website, I really need to thank the team who helped create it. NASA KOSKI – I cannot express my gratitude. Roman Deeds, Brian Bain, Scott Marlow, Devin Miller, Darlene York, Jessica Culnane, Jason Wheeler, Kirt Hodges, and my Mom.
Really hoping to stay connected with all of you this year. We have a lot of AWESOME trips lined up, and really need your help filling them!
You are KAF Adventures, and I am grateful for the time I have had with you!
